Membership

Any male, regardless of age, who is of lineal descent of an ancestor who supported the war for American Independence, is eligible for membership in the Sons of the American Revolution. Revolutionary War Patriots are those persons who fought in the military, provided supplies to the American cause, served on political bodies supporting the Revolution or signed oaths of support for the cause.
